Before laying down your new carpet, you must consider whether or not you require carpet underlay fitted. Carpet underlay is generally fitted under carpets that have a hessian or hard backing on them. However, carpets with felt and gel backs can be laid straight onto the existing floor. Underlay enables carpet to feel more comfortable underfoot and helps to increase the lifespan of the carpet. Entrance matting

We stock both carpet and laminate entrance matting, so it can match the aesthetic of your existing flooring. We sell Coir and Ribbed matting, in a range of colours and styles. Additionally, we also stock matwell frames to help your entrance matting fit neatly and properly.
Commercial Stair Nosings
Stair edgings (nosings) are used to define the edges of steps and they are ideal for heavy traffic pedestrian areas. They protect the edges of the floor covering from becoming worn and damaged, prolonging the life of the flooring and helping to reduce accidents. Although available in PVC, stair nosings are typically made from aluminium and they can be used in conjunction with carpet, vinyl flooring and ceramic tiles.
Carpet rods
We have an extensive range of carpet stair rods to complete the look of the stairs when customers opt for a more traditional look and go for a stair runner. Carpet rods create a nice, visual feature on staircases and help to keep the carpet in place. Our experts follow a quick and efficient process and will attach these rods to either side of the staircase as extra security for the carpet. Although we do not stock carpet rods in our shop, we can order them in for our customers when requested.
Carpet Door bars
Carpet door bars are most commonly used across door joins where the carpet finishes, and a different style flooring begins. Carpet bars are often fit in-line with door frames to separate landings or hallways from different rooms. Door bars also provide a clean finish as rooms transition into one another.
